Praport

Introduction

While studying Business Administration with a focus on Supply Chain Management and Logistics, I also worked at DHL Global Forwarding. I started in operational logistics coordination and later moved into a business analyst role, working more with data and reporting.

That combination — being close to the day-to-day logistics and then diving into systems and analytics — gave me a broader view of how things really worked. One thing that stood out again and again was how outdated and clunky many shipment tracking tools felt.

I had seen it both from the user’s side and from the backend — the tools just weren’t built for today’s expectations. So, I started thinking: could build one myself? Something lightweight, modern, clear, and actually pleasant to use.

That’s how Praport got started — a side project with the goal of rethinking shipment visibility using modern tools, cleaner design, and better performance.
